Yesterday, United Swim and Dive went to Lamphere for the Pink Out Charity Meet benefitting Shades of Pink Foundation. We took down both Lamphere and Centerline, winning 111-68 over Lamphere and 142-21 over Centerline. 

Great races were had by everyone.

200 Freestyle - Sophia Moceri took 1st, Kaitlyn Graczyk 2nd. 

200 IM - Natalie Lanfear took 1st

50 Freestyle - Courtney Buchanan took 2nd, Kate Swonder 3rd

Diving - Julia Denhof was 1st while Lily Roma was 2nd.

100 Butterfly - took top 3 finishes with Kate winning 1st, Lorena 2nd, and Grace 3rd. 

100 Freestyle - a 2nd race taking top 3 places, Sophia Moceri 1st, Natalie 2nd, Alexa 3rd

500 freestyle - Lorena 1st and Joscelyn 2nd

100 Backstroke - another clean sweep with Alexa, Jade, and Sophia Kozadinos going 1, 2, 3.

100 Breaststroke - Julia Denhof 2nd and Joscelyn Ryan 3rd.

200 Medley Relay Team of Courtney, Lorena, Kate, and Julia took 1st, while Alexa, Grace, Natalie, and Jade 2nd.

200 Free Relay team of Julia, Kate, Sophia, and Courtney took 1st, while Angela, Agna, Lily, and Kaitlyn took 3rd. 

400 Free Relay team of Lorena, Grace, Natalie, and Sophia took 1st while the team of Sophia K, Lyric, Jade, and Alexa took 3rd. 

Next Up, Swim and DIve travels to Warren Woods Tower to take on Cranbrook, Notre Dame Prep and Regina in a CHSL clash on Thursday at 6pm. 

United Swim and Dive went to Berkley to take on Country Day, falling 103-79 in a back and forth meet.  Great races were swam by both teams.

Julia Denhoff wasn 2nd and Courtney Buchanan 3rd in 50 Freestyle

Natalie Lanfear took 2nd with Alexa Ross 3rd in the 100 Freestyle

Lorena Ledesma Fabian was 3rd in the 500 Freestyle

Alexa Ross took 3rd in the 100 Backstroke

Lorena Ledesma Fabian took 2nd in the 100 breaststroke

200 Freestyle Relay Team of Courtney, Julia, Sophia, and Lorena took 1st while the team of Kaitlyn, Agna, Joscelyn, and Lily took 3rd. 

400 Free relay team of Kate, Grace, Natalie, and Sophia was 2nd and the team of Alexa, Lyric, Sophia, and Jade was 3rd. 

Coming up is the Orphan Invitational Saturday at Berkley High School at Noon. Also the Pink Out Meet is on Tuesday 10/17 at Lamphere at 6pm with proceeds benefiting the Shades of Pink foundation.  Donations are accepted via QR codes or cash at the meet or see any swimmer or diver to find out how else you can donate.

Yesterday the United Ventures traveled to Walled Lake Central to take on Walled Lake United.  The ventures fell 120-58 in a meet that went back and forth.  

Sophia Moceri took 2nd in the 200 Freestyle

Kate Swonder took 3rd in both 200IM and 100 butterfly

Courtney Buchanan took 1st in the 100 Freestyle and 3rd in the 50 Freestyle.

Julia Denhoff took 3rd in Diving.

Natalie Lanfear was 2nd in the 100 Freestyle.

Jade Myers took 3rd in the 100 Backstroke

Lorena Fabian took 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke.

Medley Relay Team of Courtney, Lorena, Kate, and Julia took 2nd.

200 Free relay team of Kate, Lorena, Julia, and Sophia took 2nd. 

400 Free Relay team of Grace, Natalie, Sophia, and Courtney took 2nd.
