Results from 3/22/25

We had two skaters compete in the Individual Events on Saturday.
- Madison Lawrence - 2nd place in Excel Juvenile Freskate and 3rd place in Level C Aristic Solo
- Avery Lyons - 3rd place in Pre-Bronze Fiesta Tango Solo Dance, 2nd place in Excel Intermediate Freeskate (qualified for final rounds), and placed 5th in Excel Intermediate Finals
The B-Team team maneuvers competed yesterday and finished 5th out of 12 total teams in the state. The following is how they were placed in each category:
- First place - Jumps
- Ninth place - Moves
- Sixth place - Spins

Here are the results from the second competition:
- A Team - 4th Place (third in jumps, moves, and spins)
- B Team - 2nd Place (4th in jumps and moves, second in spins)
- C Team - 6th Place (sixth in jumps, fifth in the moves, and sixth in spins)
Our next competition will be at the John Lindell Ice Arena on Wednesday, February 12th. Both A and B teams have a possible chance to make it in the top two and go on to compete at states.

Here are the results from the first competition:
- A Team - 3rd Place (second in jumps, third in moves, and fourth in spins)
- B Team - 2nd Place (second in jumps, moves, and spins)
- C Team - Tied for 5th Place (sixth in jumps, fourth in the moves, and sixth in spins)
All skaters performed well, but we can improve on a few things. Our next competition will be at the Detroit Skating Club on Friday, January 10th.
